What's the best format for my tournament?
Round-robin is fairest but time-consuming. Knockout is quick and exciting. Hybrid (groups then knockout) balances both. The wizard will recommend based on player count and time available.
How does seeding work?
Players are seeded by rating so top players meet in later rounds. #1 seed plays the lowest seed in round 1. Seeding can be manually adjusted if needed.
What if we have an odd number of players?
The system handles byes automatically. Higher seeds receive byes in knockout rounds. In round-robin, one player sits out each round rotation.
Can results affect player ratings?
Yes, tournament matches can affect ratings just like regular league matches. This is configurable per tournament.
