Can players be on multiple teams?

This depends on league rules set by the admin. Typically players belong to one team to prevent conflicts.

What if a team is short players?

Teams may need to forfeit rubbers, or league rules may allow substitutes or reserves.

How are fixtures scheduled?

Admins create the fixture schedule. Teams can play home and away matches over a season.

Do individual match results affect player ratings?

This is configurable per league. Some team leagues affect ratings, others are just for team standings.
