How It Works

  1. Players are assigned to grades (A, B, C, etc.) based on their rating
  2. Each session, players compete only within their assigned grade
  3. Matches follow a round-robin format within the grade
  4. Points are awarded: 3 for a win, 1 for playing, bonus for decisive victories
  5. Top 1-2 players from each grade are promoted after the session
  6. Bottom 1-2 players from each grade are relegated

How are initial grades determined?

Players are typically assigned based on their current rating. Admins can manually adjust placements as needed.

What happens if someone misses a session?

They typically stay in their current grade, though admins can make adjustments. Some leagues have rules for extended absences.

How many players per grade?

Usually 4-6 players per grade works best for a round-robin format that fits within a session time.

What if there are uneven numbers?

Admins can adjust grade sizes or have some players play in multiple grades (known as "swimming").
